Liz,
This is truely a problem. I can understand your spousal unit's quandry,
but maybe you can explain there will not be any tomatoes or garden unless
things are done to control the weeds. I can only picture you out beside
the garden in a chase lounge chair pointing out the weeds and your spousal
unit ( I love that phrase) pulling out the bad guys. Good luck with the
surgery. Maybe it would be easier to explain to the Dr that you need the
rest during catalog season. Jane
