Please don't tell me its too late for me to reform.
As a recovering neat-freak, your pity-empathy-sympathy-encouragement
are needed as I make my way (hopefully in mud stained boots) through
the 12 Steps.

Actually, at the moment, I have a potted azalea, an enormous cactus,
several philodendron plants, and two poinsettias growing in pots,
with dirt, in various living areas (not counting the screened
porch).. Only the azalea is enthroned in pretty paper with a bow (the
way it arrived as a Valentine); the others are all old residents. A
small Step, it is true, but give me time. One day I'll bring the
artichoke and lupine seedlings into the living quarters.

So what's a couple of roses in pots? Think of them as a decorative
statement. Pat
