Hi Margaret,

I have some Cuban Oregano and the plant stake says the following:

Plectranthus Sp. Tender per. HV 570-4 Not For Cooking Houseplant,
Cosmetic.

In my Sunset it lists Plectranthus' as Swedish Ivy's.
My AHS encyclopedia of garden plants lists several Plectranthus and call
them Swedish Ivy's and Coleus'.

Now that I look at my plant, it does have the shape of Swedish Ivy leaves,
but is hairy and variegated.

I'm betting mine is not an "oregano" although it does have a wonderful herb
smell.

Cynthia (who's sure that this just confuses the issue more)
