Reminds me of when my Gran died, leaving a house in France to be sold.
French law requires all heirs to sign off and agree that estate property
should be sold. Took over 2 years to get all the signatures of aunts &
uncles and then a group of cousins bought it. Found after a few years that
it was too cold & damp (Brittany). Then it took 3 years to get everyone to
agree to sell it, even though all had bought their own houses in Provence,
Malta etc. An absolute family nightmare.
