Margaret, that reminds me of a student I had last year.  He came into my
room quite upset that his Phys. Ed. teacher had called him a weiner. 
This is not what you call a young lad with a low self esteem.  I told
him that the next time Mrs. Smith called him that he could just reply,
"Yes, but I am an Oscar Myer."  It worked!
