I thought I would recommend a tiny edging plant which I very
successfully used last summer: Brachycome 'Ultra'. To quote
the grower's label: compact, symmetrical growth, with numerous
lavender-blue daisy-like blooms the whole summer long. Plant in
window boxes, pots, patio planters or flower beds. Takes the
heat, too. Grow in full sun, well-drained organic soil. Acid pH is
preferable. Grows to 6-8 inches, spreads about 14 inches. If
in the ground, water sparingly; if in boxes, only when the top
of the soil is dry. Fertilize regularly with a good nitrogen fertilizer,
with an occasional shot of iron. Pruning not recommended.

My comments: they are very dainty and appealing. Always
have some blooms. Thrive almost on neglect!!!! Resemble
asters, having their familiar lavender-blue petals with a yellow
center.

I bought mine locally but: http://www.provenwinners.com
