Have spent the morning planting three flats of impatiens in the Texas Star on our Courthouse lawn -- twice a year, the ladies of the garden club changeout the perennials and provide entertainment for all the passersby as we crawl around, dig, mulch and water. I hasten to add that, at 76, I am one of the younger members of the club. We've got to get some younger members! Today, only three of us showed up -- and I'm pooped. The non-gardening husband of one of my fellow laborers bought a new herb for her herb garden, labeled only as Jim Bean or Jim Beam.Says it was sold to him as an herb. Any ideas what they have?
