Well, now that I have found out a bit about the last 'mystery purchase' (many thanks, Kay!), I have another leftover from last FAll's buying excess that I can't identify... It's a clematis with very finely cut foliage....Clematis biondiana...according to the fading label. I got it at the Atlanta Botancial Gardens 'collectors sale'. They don't have any info (I called this morning), and I can't find anything in various references I've got here. It's a pretty thing....I have seen no signs of blooming, but at least I finally got it in the ground this noon. Catharine/Atlanta, zone 7b, just in from a tour of the garden and I gotta admit that it looks purty guud. The falst baprisia is just starting to bloom; the siberian iris and peonies are popping; the roses are gorgeous; the foxgloves are gearing up. Now, if it would just stay like this....
