A friend of mine has a small commercial greenhouse operation in Northeast
Georgia (Elberton, GA), near the GA/South Carolina border. She called me
today to let me know that she's clearing out greenhouses next week to get
ready for fall planting. She *hates* to throw edibles away and will give
away flats, 4" and 1-gallon pots of eggplants, tomatoes, peppers, etc.
etc. And she's got 17 flats of sun-loving coleus to dispose of (give
away).

So, if anybody on the list lives within driving distance, it might be
worth your while to give Fran a call tomorrow and see if she can hold some
plants for you. She donates most of the stuff to local groups for
community and school gardens; they've already gotten their fill.

The company is Healing Heart Herbs. Owner's name is Fran Moorehead. Her
telephone number is 706.213.0455. DO NOT CALL HER AFTER 9P.M. under any
circumstances, since she and her husband get up before 5a.m. to tend to
their farm and greenhouse operation.

She is a fine grower and a fine person. Grows magnificent herbs.
