It is a traditional Ethipian seasoning. Thing is, I have never developed 
any fondness for Ethiopian food....only cuisine I can think of that I 
definitely don't like (the bread is, IMHO, **NASTY**). But the seasoning 
is really good stuff. Wonderful on cabbage.
