We finally got a few inches of some badly needed rain. Unfortunately it
came with some 50-60 mph wind gusts. A limb, probably injured during the
great ice storm of January 1997, came down between the main veggie garden
and the fruit trees. No damage to the gardens but now I've got to cut up a
20-foot plus limb 3 to 5 inches in diameter. Glad it didn't hit anything
important. I think I'll plant some stuff tomorrow. Got some lagenaria gourd
seedling ready to go in the ground, some golden oregano I've been waiting
for the perfect moment to plant, and some prunella that's ready.
