We finally got some rain!!! Thursday day, night, and Friday day, on and off steady heavy rain for 36 hours. Ended up with over 5 inches of water *in* the ground. None to soon either, things have been getting more dry than I like to think about. We can always fake it with soaker hoses and hand watering, but living in a farming area really makes you take notice. Doesn't make me feel too much better watering my cute little plants when I know some of my friends are worried about an entire crop. I hope everyone in Texas is as fortunate as we have finally been.
