Got a really good rain yesterday and it's been sprinkling on and off all
morning today. Got out and picked a bunch of chiles, hot and mild, and plan
to put them up later. Crowder peas about played out, cukes nearly gone,
okra still producing, and the lageneria gourds are reaching the top of the
four-foot fence already. Cucuzzi just standing still, lots of blooms, very
little fruit.
Hot as the blazes out there even with rain falling. Think I'll rest awhile.
