We have recieved almost no rain so far. Maybe 1/2 inch at most. I was
hoping for as much as 5 inches. We could use it.
The eye of the storm is still below us. A few leaves are scattered across
the road, minor gusty winds to 40, maybe 50 mph. No other indications so far.
The outer banks in Kitty Hawk through Nags Head is getting some overwash
on a few portions of highway 12.(Compliments of the Weather Channel) This
is a standard occurance for even a moderate nor'easter'.

I can't decide which is worse, the fact that I'm complaining about nothing
to show for it so far, or the fact that we have only 1/2 inch of rain.
Haven't been out for a drive yet. Will take one later this morning.
