Hi:

I just received a product for testing from the Home Garden Club
(Yes, they really do send test products!).  It contains
Benzyldiethyl and ammonium benzoate which is said to be the
bitterest substance on earth.  The directions are to spray it on
the leaves and trunk or branches of the plants you don't want
deer to eat.

Since I live in a townehouse complex with no deer in sight, I
will be testing this on my sedums and sempervivums and hostas to
see if the local squirrels and rabbits will "learn" to leave them
alone. 

Has anyone used this product?
