Looks like SW Louisiana skated on this one just like we did with Andrew in
1992. I must say we are grateful and people from the coastal parishes are
even more so as they returned to their homes today. Since we've already
topped up everything that needed topping up we will stay at full
preparedness until the end of November 1998 when the season ends. Still
would have liked some rain.

Miz Anne and I both worked most of the day today so we didn't get a chance
to plant what area was plowed yesterday. Reckon we'll make a stab at it
tomorrow. Hope folks in the panhandle of Florida and lower Gawga are doing
okay.
