Thanks for inviting me to the list. I've been meaning to ask you--should
I trim down the iris. I see people here cut them back into a fan shape
this time of year. Strikes me that this would stop them from falling over
in the soon to arrive deluge and keep the leaves from wanting to rot. They
look great and healthy right now. Of course, it's been too dry for the
last month and a half for the slugs to get over into that garden.
