>arriving just after we moved away. I met her in Seattle, through the >cyber-gardeners at the Seattle Flower Show. ) I guess I ought to invite >her to sign onto gardeners, as long as we're talking about her. She could >keep in touch even from Tejas. Margaret If you don't, I will! I saw Vicki in July and she hadn't been on Gardens for quite a while then. She ought to be ready for reconnecting about now, with us, of course, even if she is still a frustrated gardener. She'll fit right in. Bought a really nice, large penstemon, three peonies and a beautiful scabiosa for $2.50 each yesterday, End of season sales are a weakness. I need another plant to plant like I need more yarn to dye. What I really need are two days to just rearrange one of the gardens completely. The short plants are behind tall ones, the powdery mildew victims are in front of beautiful green plants. It's a mess. About the grass and other weeds,,,it's beyond tolerance. Give me time!! Cheryl Cheryl Schaefer schaefer @epix.net Zone 5 in the fabulous Finger Lakes of NY
