I really love the foliage colors driving down the highway. But when I look at my garden it is always a bit whistful. Already I am wondering how big my hostas will be next year and if a new transplant or or new plant will survive the winter. What I can do differently next year. I am always an eager beaver in the spring putting things in order. My husband says that my idea of spring cleaning is burying the leaves in my yard. In fall cutting back plants, and putting my garden to bed the feeling is always different.
