Aahh no, Pat, we're out by 10 years in the figuring....
It was '37, not '27 when I burst upon the college scene.
All the more reason that my mother worried about me!
Yes, Jimmie and I handle the whole place by ourselves,
I for the passionate love of the garden, and he for the
fresh air and exercise. He also does all the snow shoveling
by hand, in the wintertime -- and our driveway is 130 feet
long. But then he does eat four meals a day.
I do have a problem with kneeling, however, so if eye were
to volunteer to plant seedlings in front of the state capital
by the flat-full, I'd have to sit down on my rump.
