Well, my gardening friends, the raised veggie beds are built. Glenn
worked overtime and I put Revelstoke Lumber on my speed dial. With my
math problems I screwed up how much rebar and hpw many ties. I did not
do it once I did it twice. Hey, if it works - don't fix it and if it
doesn't - make two more trips!! But here they lie looking so awesome
like saying, :I am READY for planting!! I have new compost, I have been
tilled, I am waiting!!"

So do I try it. Plant the beets and the carrots and hopw the seed
winter? May try one or two rows just for "research sake" translated -
they look so good why not plant!"

Like this is withdrawl from gardening - these were the last steps!!!

I do have snaps and asters still flowering and the clematis against the
garage is still putting out blooms. Guess they are enjoying the longest
growing season around here that I remember!!

I dooo have a project for the front lawn - a flower bed. I have a rise
in my lawn about 2 feet that is just crying for a retaining wall flower
bed about 15 feet long, 2 feet high and 3-4 feet wide. Hmmmmmmm I
wonder ? Do we have time. Glenn would KILL me!! BUT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>!
