I've had really good results growing "Alexandria" variety. It's bigger than the true fraise de bois and more prolific. Still, it's only thumbnail size. Flavor is "yummers." (and the birds adore them...and leave other stuff alone as a result). I get my seed from Gourmet Gardener. They have web site; the address is http://www.gourmetgardener.com/. They need to be planted 3+ months before last spring frost, so that means I have to start them in early January. They start producing for me the first year. Catharine/Atlanta, zone 7b
