Alpine Strawberries are wonderful!  The first year is slow.  If you you plant
the seeds don't give up.  Once they are established they are amazingly hearty
and prolific.  Our little Lhasa Apso munches regularly on them.  I like the
Alexandria variety.  Mine our quite happy and producing and we have had
numerous nights below 32F already.
