There are, however, two books on Meconopsis, both OP... Meconopsis, by
James Cobb, and Account of the Genus Meconopsis, by George Taylor.
There might be some more clues to culture in IM Sulaiman's 1996 Ecological
studies on five species of endangered Himalayan poppy, Meconopsis
(Papaveraceae). Bot J. Linn. Soc. 121(2):169-176 or GB Straley's 1987
Meconopsis for the garden, Pacific Horticulture 48(1):48-52.
