What say we all converge on George and Miz Anne??? It was 9 degrees here
most of the day yesterday and they are predicting we will be hit by a snow
storm later today - could get up to 1 1/2 feet of snow. boo hiss.
Thankfully, we don't have to go anywhere but will worry about my brother
taking my niece back to the Kansas City Airport tomorrow! If her plane
will even be able to leave to CA! She was in Colulmbia when we got some
snow on Wed. and was delilghted. I was MORE delighted when I got safely
home. I am a big chicken about driving in snow etc.
Hope everyone had a nice New Year's celebration. Cats even let me sleep
until almost 8:00 a.m. this morning - RARE occurence! guess we will do the
annual dismantling the xmas decorations. Always sad to see them come down
but guess people would think we were weird if we kept them up longer. Wil
sit in our plant room and have a cup of coffee and watch the snow. Several
orchids blooming right now - really do smell wonderful. Angel's trumpet
also blooming, but it only smells at night.
Barb in cold (finally) soon to be snowy Mid- Missouri
