It's because I cross posted, Margaret.  :-)
And the tree is *very* far away from the house.  :-)

Rubbing your nose in the ice and snow?  Y'all have ice and snow?
Oh My!  It is very, very cold here too, and threatening rain.  ;-)

I did get outside this morning and flush out the biofilter of my
watergarden.
The algae dies when it gets this could out, and tries to plug up the
tiny pores in the filtering system in the bio-filter. I hope this is the
last
time I have to do it for this winter.
At least I don't have to worry about ice hurting the system.  ;-)

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to complain about our
cold, Margaret.  ;-)
