Barb, it certainly DOES scare me to death having Jim do all
that shoveling! There is no way I can conjur up to stop him.
He won't listen to friends, relatives or doctors. Says that HE
can tell when he's had enough. Of course, he is no lumberjack,
but he does eat four meals a day, and that gives him lots of
reserve energy.
When he refused to put on his hat today, I insisted, demanded,
and screamed. The head is supposed to be the first place that
dissipates the heat of the body. I finally told him that I would
take myself out there and spread ICE MELTER and spoil all his
fun, so he put the hat on. Gee whiz, he said, you're meddling!
No, I answered, I'm mothering.
