I'm waaaay behind in mail, and spent all day yesterday in a gardeners' "cabin fever cure-all" series of lectures. Two of the slide lectures were given by ....TA DA!!!!! Tracy DiSabato-Aust. Many of you have her book, "The Well-Tended Perennial Garden." Her lecture is also very good, and she's a very personable speaker. BTW, that book was published early in 1998, and yesterday she said it's now in its 20th printing. The number of people who bought books yesterday probably pushed them into the 21st printing. I was somewhat disappointed in a second speaker, and extremely disgusted with a third, but all in all, I think the day was well-spent. House is a mess, my desk is piled high, I've got to work on a March to November garden calender, haven't planted all of my chiles or tomatoes, and have the Seed Savers' Exchange catalog to order from yet, and haven't yet ordered from Richters. And there are 147 messages on my computer. Pant, pant. Margaret L
