Hi Matt!  We cut through the 4x4's with a skill saw too, buy turning it over
and
making a second pass like you do.  It works for us.
I kept meaning to tell everyone that we were having fire flies here too for
the
past couple of weeks, but kept forgetting.  Somehow or other I barely
seem to have time to read the mail, much less reply to it.
