Linda, some gremlin just got into this computer and deleted my 
message to you -- so I'll start again:

We've been in the same boat as you. Boston got rain, Phily got
rain, Albany got rain, but NEVER us.  I've got 8 flower beds, and
it will be goodbye and farewell  not only to them, but to all the
less established shrubs in the garden. It hurts....
