Thanks Penny. Dennis made a sharp right just before landfall. He was only about 50 miles offshore when he turned. We had hurricane gusts, but no sustained hurricane force winds. Lost lots of tree branches (one in the middle of our pool, and another in the roof of a neighbors house), but I saw no real damage like I know could have happened. Good luck with the winds up there. They say that the interface with the two systems is really gonna kick up the wind where they meet. Charleston came through this one just fine too. We're all thankful.
