The recipe on the back of the package our fresh? cranberries come in says to add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar to the 12 oz of cranberries and boil rapidly until the berries pop. Makes four cups. I prefer the uncooked relish which puts the package of berries and one medium orange (quartered and seeds removed) thru the food processor until finely chopped. Add 1 cup of sugar and mix thoroughly and refrigerate for several hours before serving. (make it today for tomorrow) makes 21/2 cups HTH Bill Loke; Kars, Ontario.
