Penny: Thoroughly enjoyed your memories of Thanksgiving. I'm from a
large extended family too and we always had our family reunion on
Christmas at my grandmother Shirley's place. After she moved into an
elder apartment we held it in their meeting hall and invited all 25 of
the residents to join us. My "Ma" Shirley died in 1983 at 89 years of
age and the reunion and the holiday haven't been the same. Thanks for
some good memories of a bygone era.
