Hi Penny,
    Sorry it took so long to get back in touch. Judy came down with a
real bad cold. I was busy nursing her, when I came down with it too. It
is like getting hit by a bus.
    As far as I know chive will grow back after cutting time after time.
You might need to feed them after a while because of all the foliage
that has been removed.
    Like you and George, I eat standing right out there in the garden,
green beans, tomatos, onions, turnips, broccoli, squash, zucchini, etc.
