Tomorrow I'll probably yank some tangelos from the tree. Seems like
they're ripening a few weeks early this year. This tree has had some
disease that causes its bark to split away, but I guess the Subdue I've
used has kept it going for the 3 or 4 years since I discovered the
problem.
Tried pollinating some hibiscus today and I'll see what varieties are
blooming tomorrow for some more pollinating. This is the weather for
doing this, but I won't have room for more seedlings until I can cull
some from last year's group -- life has its problems. ;-)
Happy new year,
Tom Miller
