Peak Near CDN border is around 1st week in Oct Mid State about 1 week later,
Southern part a week later.
Penny , next foliage trip, just head North on the Taconnic Pkwy. Near the
end of Oct. Then take old US 7 No. A photo of Pownel Valley near Bennington
VT was the cover for the US standards for many years.

Per Old Farmers Almanac, HQ 20 miles from here, NE fall foliage is so
colorful, because of the lime in the soil, as in granite, marble etc.
