[gardeners] Tall girl

Craig, I'm height challenged next to you! I'm only 6'
or 6'1". But, it wasn't until I lived in Washington
state for 10 years that I considered myself normal,
and not some tall anomaly. So, one of my best friends
started calling me Tall Girl as a joke, and I guess
I'm used to it now.
I'm glad to say that most of my tomatoes have
germinated, but the peppers are being pokey. Is that
normal? Do they always take longer to show
themselves? I am excited at the prospect of having
fresh greens -- the lettuce & spinach look great. I
can't wait.
I bought some of those $.10 seeds at Walmart this week
- flowers mostly, and a few herbs. I'll probably get
them started tonight. Our weather is in the 70s
during the day, so most everything is outside soaking
up the sunshine while I'm at work.
