Tall Girl,
I bought the G-90 seed going on 4 years ago. I bought 4 lbs. of it at a
feed store. I asked for sweet corn seeds from the feed store guy. He
apologetically said that G-90 was all that he had left. I took it not even
knowing that it was a bicolor corn. Talk about dumb luck!
G-90 is delicious. It is as sweet as I would want. I have tasted some
others that are sweeter. IMHO, they are sweeter at the cost of a good corn
flavor.
My Dad swears by Guadalupe Gold, a yellow corn. It less sweet than G-90.
I gave him some G-90 ears. He says it's too sweet for him.
I looked through 6 or 7 catalogues this morning. Can't find G-90 listed
by anyone. Anybody have a source?
