It would also help if you could shade it temporarily. I did that for a
couple of little pear trees I moved when it was really hot. I think I used
some tomato stakes and a big piece of white plastic I had, and some strings
from the tops of the stakes to pegs in the ground to anchor it. It all came
apart in a few days, when it got windy, but it was enough to keep the trees
alive. I misted them, too.
