George and all, have a most wonderful holiday, with or without your
family, and just keep in mind that whatever you eat today, you will
have to pay for tomorrow...<g>....

We had a super thrill today -- we sliced and ate the next to last
fresh tomato from the garden! You must realize that it's been
down to zero hereabouts, on and off, and outside the snow cover
gleams white all over .... but the tomato Jimmie had pulled off
the discarded bush when he spotted it a week later, and has
spent all this time ripening in the semi-shade of my kitchen
counter. P.S.: it was delicious!

BTW, this tomato was one of those with a pointed bottom. Does
anyone recognize this description...?

Penny, NY zone 6 and ccccold.....
