Good morning, Margaret, I believe gyros are also known as souvlaki in Greece. Tzadziki is a kind of generic yogurt/dill/cucumber sauce found around the whole of the eastern Mediterranean littoral, and even on into Turkey and the Caucasus. It has as many variations as people who make it. Ron
