During the Christmas holiday I put six large poinsettia's in my bow window. They were beautiful. Now that the holiday is over, and two have since passed on, I now have four VERY large poinsettia plants. One is pushing a lot of new, green growth, while the other three are continuously showing off their red leaves. The problem is, I'd like to put my house back together and replace my usual plants back to where I now have all of these poinsettia's located. The largest one is sitting on my dining room table practically taking up the entire table. I certainly don't want to kill them, and would like to try having them turn red next Christmas by putting them in darkness in October. However, what do I do with them until then? If I cut back the larger ones will they survive the trimming? Thanks, Leslie -- If you need me.. I'm in my greenhouse, happy as a lark :) http://community.webshots.com/user/trapperboss USDA Zone 6a (The Garden State)
