Hello, Margaret,

Thanks for the input. No, I am afraid the only variety we can grow here
in the lowlands is one named "Beverly Hills." In the mountainous
foothills, I am sure many other varieties can be grown.

But then again, we are able to grow many other varieties of fruit
hereabouts which cannot be grown in much of North America: my lovely
macadamia, for example.

But I do miss those tasty old time apples.
