In reference to the earlier thread on Keifer pears and the like, here is
where you can go view the newsletter put out by Travis Callahan, the head of
the Southern Pear Interest Group for NAFEX (North American Fruit Explorers) 
There are photos of several pears that do well in the south, along with
evaluations of a number of them.  To join NAFEX, go to http://www.nafex.org
