When I took a course at the Bronx Botanic Garden, we got to wander
through the tulip beds one day munching different colored petals to taste
the variety! Every color has a different flavor.. some are actually pretty
spicy! (When the flowers are starting past prime, just before they start to
fall apart, pick the petals, wash and tear into a mixed greens salad. Great
look, unusual taste.)

This should be a fun topic!
