Penny,

What you and I call plumbago is Ceratostigma plumbaginoides and I love it.

But there's a different plumbago that isn't hardy in areas colder than USDA
zone 8...Cape Plumbago, aka Plumbago auriculata...a bigger plant
altogether...and that's the plant that will generate the most websearch hits
if you use 'plumbago' as your search phrase.
