Hello, again, friends,

Does anyone have a clue as to what kind of beetle was eating the ripe
fruit on our nectarine tree? It's about an inch long, half an inch wide,
with teal blue metallic wings. Its wings create quite a buzz when it
flies. I have never seen such an insect before. It is as beautiful as it
was destructive.
