Terry, today was Ghostly Sunday. Not a person or machine
moving anywhere. I heard one private plane fly by all day.
My brother and sis-in-law finally caught a 7:00am plane out
of Newark Airport for San Francisco, reached there and
grabbed a rental car and drove the 2 hours north just slithering
in on time for their son's wedding .... The Best Laid Plans Oft'
Go Astray ....
My daughter and hubby have cancelled their trip to Turkey in
2 weeks -- they feel that Turkey is not exactly a logical place
to fly into at this time. Cannot blame them.
Jimmie and I hope to keep our intentions to fly down to
St.Louis, Mo., in 2 weeks. I would NOT have wanted to fly
right at this moment -- I do hope I feel calmer before long.
I have heard that the only way for us to retaliate would be
to kidnap all of the women in Afghanistan and force them
to go to college over here.
