[gardeners] Wednesday in the garden of life

Miz Anne and I got up very early this morning and drove to the VA Medical Center in Alexandria, LA
for a 0900 cardiology appointment. This was the follow-up visit to one from three months ago where
my BP meds were radically changed.

Guess what? My resting BP was 120/82 with a 75 pulse and my standing BP was only a couple of points
higher. That's a whole lot better than 216/110 with a 90 pulse, which is what it was 3 months ago.

The cardiologist, an Irish emigre with a good sense of humor, said I had at least 6 months to live
as that's when he wanted me to come back again. As I said, he's a joker that redhead is.

Life is very good.

Oh yeah, mandatory garden content, it rained and it's too wet to get out in the garden.
