Rosemary - be very careful about that deer. With antlers and hooves they can very seriously hurt you
and have even been known to kill people. Remember that he is a wild animal and for sure avoid him
when it's rutting time. Most male animals can get vicious then.
I'm very serious about this, living alone as you do you could lay in the yard and die if that buck
ever attacked you.
